Topics covered over the 6 weeks include: personal strengths, special interests, acceptance of differences, care-taking and friendship, finding your tribe, trust, emotion and energy regulation, boundaries, communication styles, perfectionism, worries and problem solving.
Why animal assisted therapy?
Animal Assisted Therapy is an emerging therapy and is used as an adjunct along with traditional therapies. I focus very much on the attachment bond between primary caregivers and child, allowing for optimal attunement and celebration of differences.
